These maintenance recommendations may vary depending on the environment in which the pieces are installed, as well as the materials and finishes from which they are made.
In the kitchen, grease, fumes and food residues can be major enemies of the handles that enhance our furniture. To avoid deterioration, it is essential not to use the same abrasive cleaning products and solvents we normally use on other kitchen elements. A simple cloth slightly dampened with water will be enough.
Metal or stainless-steel handles with chrome, brushed nickel or painted finishes are the most suitable for modern kitchens due to their excellent resistance. For rustic or traditional kitchens, handles in wood, porcelain or rustic metal finishes are also ideal. All of them, with proper care, offer great durability.
Bathrooms are spaces in our homes where heat and humidity must be considered when choosing hardware. For this reason, stainless steel knobs, handles, hooks or shower rails are highly recommended for their strength. However, depending on the bathroom furniture style, other materials such as metal, wood, porcelain, glass or resin can also be used, with rustic or modern finishes. To clean them, use a soft cloth dampened with water.
